To the MG School Committee,
I’m writing in support of a natural grass field at Mt. Greylock. My primary reasons:
I worry about the environmental consequences of injecting thousands of pounds of tire bits into our fields. Water runoff being the biggest potential problem.

I worry about the rising temperatures in our environment, and the nature of a turf field to hold and radiate heat.
Given the choice, why not have a natural grass field. Perhaps the conservation commission should take a look at this issue, if they haven’t already.
Thank you,

Dear School Committee Members,
I have grave concerns about the impact an artificial turf field would have on our children and
our environment. These concerns lead me to be OPPOSED to the installation of an artificial
turf field at Mt Greylock.
Keep in mind, asbestos once seemed like a good idea too.
